At Wild Skye’s Creative Studio, we provide a vibrant, hands-on space where artists of all ages and skill levels can explore their creativity through pottery, painting, and unique craft workshops. Whether you're looking to learn a new skill, enjoy a fun night out, or find a relaxing artistic escape, our studio offers a welcoming and inspiring environment for everyone.

Pottery Classes
Learn how to create functional and decorative pieces with Clay Hand Building or Throwing basics!
Hand Building is a 4 week course. You will learn the pinch, coil, and slab methods to create your art. No pottery wheel needed! This class will be strictly hand building with clay.
In Throwing,
Both classes include 4 weeks of instruction, and the last class will be dedicated to glazing.
We will focus on one specific hand building method per week, and one specific skill necessary for Throwing each week. On the last class in both courses, students will learn proper glazing techniques as they glaze their final pieces. Students will return to pick up finished pieces approximately one week after the final class. This course is REQUIRED for all inexperienced customers who plan to rent/use the wheels by the hour. ($30/hour).

Event Time: Based on available openings, Tuesday - Saturday from 1-7PM.
Price is $150 for the course, and includes clay, basic level instruction, use of studio tools, space, equipment, glazing and firing.
Pottery Wheel Experience
“Pottery Wheel Experience” is more advanced and is an “at your own pace” offering. Experienced artists can come in and purchase studio time, clay, and private/semi-private studio space, if desired. Studio clean-up upon completion is required. All work must be taken home after session. Firing available once dry. It is recommended that you have your own sculpting tools. We carry personal pottery/sculpting tool kits for $30, if needed.
Price for the Pottery Wheel Experience is $30 per hour, per person and includes firing of clay, once it’s fully dry. All clay must be purchased here in studio. Clay is available in 3lb. blocks or 25lb. blocks.
You return at a later date of your choosing to glaze pieces. Glaze charge is $12/piece.

Wine Glass Painting
Wine Glass Painting Walk in Workshop × Paint a wine glass with food and dishwasher safe enamel paint!
Come in with ideas or we will provide inspiration. Price is $24 and includes 2 wine glasses.
Wine is allowed, if you choose to BYOB. Wine Glass Painting takes 1-2 hours to create, depending on complexity.

Tic Tac Toe Game Set Clay Hand Building
Customize the classic board game with various themed pieces, and a cozy board to host endless games with friends and family.
This project is beginner friendly, and fun for all ages! Price is $35 and includes: clay (up to 2 lbs.), tools, instruction, glaze, and fire.
Walk-ins are not recommended as this can take some time and focus. Age 8and up welcome. Call ahead to book the hand-building room for this project.

String Art Walk in Workshop
String Art Walk in Workshop × Make your own custom string art!
Feel free to come in with ideas for us to print, or choose from our available stencils.
Cost is $30 for a larger rectangle board and $20 for a smaller square board. Price includes all materials and instruction.
String Art takes about 1.5- 2.5 hours to create depending on complexity. Available for walk-in offering.

Student Art Club 🎨🏺
A fun and engaging weekly art meet-up designed specifically for creative kids ages 8-18! This is the perfect opportunity for young artists to socialize, explore different art mediums, and build their creative skills in a supportive and inspiring environment.

📅 Every Tuesday Evening (Repeats weekly, all year long)
⏰ Time: 6:00 PM – 7:00 PM
📍 Location: Wild Skye’s Creative Studio

JUNE EVENTS:
June: 18th - Basket Weaving! $40/pp, all materials included! Come learn how to make a Pine Needle Basket, which is the same technique used to make the sweetgrass baskets you typically see being sold in the Low Country! Registration prior to the night of the event is required.

June 19th THURSDAY: CLAY BEAD MAKING WORKSHOP!!! 2-4PM, $20/PP. Do you love the idea of making your very own designer, one-of-a-kind beads for jewelry-making?? Come on in and hand-roll or sculpt your very own beautiful beads!!! We have lots of examples and inspiration. Ages 10+
June 21st: SATURDAY: Date Night!!! “PAINT YOUR PARTNER CHALLENGE”
$65 per couple. Register is required, please call prior to the date of the event. All materials included and Complimentary charcuterie board offerings will be served. BYOB-Friendly event. Trophy prize for the best portrait!
JULY EVENTS:
July 12th: “CREATE YOUR OWN CHARCUTERIE BOARD” Board-building Evet.
Saturday Afternoon from 2-4PM. Cost: $55 and includes a large round Teakwood board with handle and ridge around the edge, all the charcuterie food items, and instruction. BYOB-Friendly event.
July 14-18th SUMMER ART CAMP!!! (Session I) Ages 8 and up only, please. Students will learn various crafting skills, and meet new friends! Acrylic Painting, ceramics and pottery, building skills, beading, sewing, cookie decorating, and more!
July 18th, PAINT ‘N SIP!!! Friday from 5PM-7PM. We will be guided by the lovely April Cook, a local artist who also teaches drawing and sketching lessons at our studio a few times per month by appointment. Come on in and Paint a lovely blue floral pre-drawn design on canvas! Something you can surely hang on your wall with pride! Cost is $35/PP. All materials included. BYOB friendly event. No children, please.
July 21-25th: SESSION II Summer ART Camp: Most activities will be same as above but may be on different days, and some activities will differ slightly during each week.
August Events:
August 6th, Wednesday: Holiday Dinner Ceramics Kick-Off Event!!! 4-6PM Come on in and choose your holiday item(s) to paint before we get to the holidays! Be ready for that gorgeous holiday dinner!!! We will have fancy gravy boats, light-up holiday trees - several different styles, elegant serving platters and dishes, plus sets of plates! Paint one plate per week to create an entire set before the holidays. Make something beautiful that you can pass down. We even have plates for cookies for Santa!
Ongoing Weekly Events happening all year long:
- Art Club (ages 8-18): Tuesdays 6:00 to 7:00 p.m.
-Ladies’ Night!! LAST Friday of each Month from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Will either be painting ceramics or a craft. Ladies’ choice. BYOB - coffee, tea, wine, doesn’t matter! ONLY ON THE LAST FRIDAY!!! Come and meet other ladies who enjoy getting out of the house and meeting new people! We have a blast!
-Pottery Courses: You may choose your time based on availability. These are four-week courses. 3 weeks of learning beginner level pottery throwing or hand building, and the last week is set aside for glazing. Call to get on the schedule: (843) 756-0381

-Senior (ages 55+) Social Days: Tuesdays from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Come on in for puzzle building, crafts, meet new friends, paint ceramics, paint by numbers, whatever we have on hand and enjoy $5 off all pottery!
